The car is designed to take inspiration from both Lacoste fashion, and the sports which that company is heavily involved with. For example, the wheels echo golf balls and the fabrics used on the seats are also similar to those used in tennis outfits. You'll also notice that the car has a sun visor, that can be lowered, when not needed, and it too echos a pair of Lacoste sunglasses.

2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK250, SLK55 AMG in Australia
Mercedes-Benz has launched the SLK250 and SLK55 AMG in Australia, boosting the new sports car line-up with a mid-spec model and a high-performance flagship.
The SLK250 slots between the SLK200 and SLK350, which introduced the third-generation hardtop roadster to Australia back in August 2011.
With a starting price of $91,900, the SLK250 is $9325 cheaper than the model it replaces.
The SLK250 features a more powerful version of the 1.8-litre turbocharged petrol engine from the SLK200. It produces an extra 15kW and 40Nm for a maximum output of 150kW and 310Nm of torque. The SLK250 is four-tenths faster from 0-100km/h (6.6 seconds), yet uses just 0.1 litres per 100km more fuel.

Mitsubishi hasn’t revealed much about the concept, or what segment it fits into, however, in the company statement the concept is described as a “strategic and innovative premium vehicle”.
The concept is very similar to the Mitsubishi Concept PX-MiEV II, unveiled at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show in November, suggesting this could be a concept version of the all-new Mitsubishi Outlander.
